January 31, 2008 - Samson Lift Technologies LLC of Boca Raton, Fla., is making the SLVR available to the City of New Orleans at no cost until mid-February. "This new side-loading vehicle retriever will provide a tremendous boost in productivity, while simultaneously providing greater safety to our personnel. This is another example of how the city uses technology to improve operations and customer service", Public Works Director Robert Mendoza said. "In an effort to reduce the number of parking citations and vehicle tows, we are making another effort to educate everyone about the rules and regulations. We encourage everyone to obey the parking laws", he said.

January 24, 2008 - Samson Lift Technologies is partnering with the City of New Orleans to prepare for the 2008 Mardi Gras Parades. Samson has volunteered to supplement the City's fleet of tow trucks with the revolutionary new Side Loading Vehicle Retriever (SLVR). The SLVR will be utilized to clear parade routes, tow disabled vehicles and help enforce parking.
